Tadeusz Pienkowski,

MD, PhD

Professor Tadeusz Pienkowski graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at the Medical University of Warsaw, soon becoming a faculty member at its Cancer Center. He obtained his PhD in 1993 and became the head of the Breast Cancer and Reconstructive Surgery Department in the Cancer Center in Warsaw in 1995.

In 2004, Professor Pienkowski passed the state board examination in clinical oncology and became a professor of clinical oncology in 2010. He went on to become the head of the Oncology Department at the Medical Center of Postgraduate Education in 2011. He is interested in the systemic treatment of breast cancer, contributing findings to several clinical trials.
