Dr. Rodrigo Fresco received his MD and his Medical Oncology specialization from the Universidad de la República in Montevideo, Uruguay, where he graduated at the top of his class.

Prior to joining TRIO, Dr. Fresco was Study Coordinator and Investigator in several Phase 2-3 oncology trials at the Hospital de Clínicas “Dr. Manuel Quintela” where he also practiced. After joining TRIO in 2009, he balanced his responsibilities in the Project Management Department with a faculty position at the Universidad de la República, where he was appointed Assistant Professor of Oncology. He later became the Vice President of Medical Affairs for TRIO, providing medical insight and knowledge into every trial.

Dr. Rodrigo Fresco brings a wealth of experience in cancer management and clinical research to TRIO and a tremendous passion for cancer research and treatment.
