Data Management

TRIO uses the Oracle platform of products for its database, remote data capture, clinical trial management system, thesaurus management system and clinical data analytics.  The Data Management (DM) team has extensive experience in the design of Case Report Forms (CRFs) specific for oncology trials. Having a thorough and streamlined CRF is essential. It provides the backbone for the database build process. Therefore, the DM team is involved early on to ensure that database design, set-up, testing and maintenance is clean and efficient. The team works closely with the Information Technology/Systems team on all aspects of the database and provides user support via a 24-hour help desk.

The DM activities remain flexible to allow for the use of TRIO’s own standard CRFs, in addition to the Sponsor’s standard CRF, or sometimes a hybrid of the two.
